Tour Antonette Cely's Doll and Dollmaking Site

Welcome to Cloth Dollmaking

Welcome to Antonette Cely Dolls -- a collection of information about the latest in cloth dollmaking techniques, a reference library for doll collectors, and a portfolio of my own one-of-a-kind art dolls. If you love the craft of dolls, or consider dollmaking an art form, I think you'll find something here for you!

I offer an Online Shop where you can buy the patterns, books and videos you may be looking for. After all, there's just no better way to improve your dollmaking skills than by seeing the ways experts do it, and I hope you'll visit to see what we have to offer. My online shop is a
SECURE SITE, and since we accept ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS, you can shop in complete safety!

I also offer a simple, FREE cloth doll pattern for anyone who wants to make Dolls or "Teddy" bears for needy children. You can even download the patterns and instructions straight to your printer! You are welcome to copy the patterns for Dolly Hugs or Bear Hugs, as long as you do not sell the patterns or the dolls you make from them. Also, thanks to dollmaker Nancy Fisher, you can download patterns and instructions to make really cute clothes for Dolly Hugs!

See what a little love can do...

You may have heard about the project in South Africa where many of us have been sending dolls and bears. The L.I. Cloth Dollinks Club, among others, have sent some wonderful dolls to Hlabisa Hospital and the
Uthando Project
. Here is the latest update and some pictures from Dr. Julie Stone and friends in the "Happy Hookers Dollclub" who have delivered a HUGE shipment of dolls to this wonderful cause!

If you or your dollclub would like to help with out, please contact Dr. Stone or Tamsen Rochat, Hlabisa Hospital’s clinical psychologist, who would be happy to answer any questions.
